Dr. Godwin D’Souza is a board-certified internal medicine physician and a proud founding member of Metropolitan Healthcare Partners, with over three decades of experience caring for adult patients across Chicago. He earned his medical degree from St. John’s Medical College in India, graduating in 1991, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Rush Westlake Community Hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. D’Souza has proudly served the Belmont Cragin community and surrounding Chicago neighborhoods as a primary care physician since 1998. His practice is built on the conviction that excellent healthcare is a collaborative effort between the physician, medical staff, the patient, and their family — an approach focused on healing the whole person, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Dr. D’Souza maintains hospital affiliations with leading institutions in the Chicago area, including Community First Medical Center and Ascension Resurrection Medical Center, reflecting his deeply integrated role within the Chicago healthcare community. He cares for adults across the full spectrum of internal medicine, with particular experience in managing hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, hyperlipidemia, and other complex chronic conditions.
